Attend this FREE workshop to learn how to design access roads and working platforms for your construction site. Anyone involved in designing embankments, to piling and crane platforms, to access over soggy ground can benefit from this workshop. On the day, with design guidance from guidelines such as LR1132 and BR470, you'll be able to learn how to design and optimise your construction platform to ensure performance and safety of your operations. The workshop will also cover the benefits of including geosynthetics in your design to increase the economy and bearing capacity of the ground. The workshop with cover fundamentals of temporary works design with a traditional pen-and-paper approach but will also include software-aided design.
